It’s important to note this routine is quite intense, so is best suited to normal to mature skins which are used to active ingredients. However, we have included some modifications for those who are looking for a gentler alternative, and for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding.


Step 1 – Double cleanse

First things first, it’s time to wash away any makeup and grime which are just chilling on your face, looking to make mischief. For this step we recommend our Balancing Cleanser as it returns your skin to pH balance so the actives in our subsequent steps will work better. Why do it twice? To be very sure that all the makeup and debris is gone, and that your skin’s pH is right where we need it. Using a cleanser with a high pH can strip your skin of its protective barrier and make it sensitive to actives; definitely not what we want for this routine.

Step 2 – Exfoliate and pre-mask

Mix a teaspoon of Gentle Daily Exfoliant with a couple of drops of Liquid Gold to create a smooth paste, then apply using either your fingertips or a mask brush, avoiding the eye area. Massage it gently into the skin for a minute, then sit back and let it do its thing for up to 5 minutes. By combining both enzymatic and chemical exfoliation in this one step, we’re really stepping this treatment up. If you think it’s too much for your skin, you can always substitute a couple of drops of water for the Liquid Gold.

Step 3 – Intense mask and peel

Now it’s time for the main-event mask; Liquid Gold Ultimate Perfecting Mask. Featuring a 20% Combination Hydroxy Acid blend in a nourishing base which includes a powerful probiotic, it works hard to hyperstimulate and renew the skin while also hydrating and repairing its barrier function. Step 4 – Give your skin a hug

After the intense workout we’ve just subjected it to, your skin is possibly going to need a hug; luckily, we sell those in bottle form! Dispense a couple of drops of Essential Hydration Concentrate onto your fingertips and then massage it into your skin gently. As this one contains Vitamin A, it’s not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding mothers; you could substitute it for our or Vitamin B instead.
