Topical Vitamin A serum
Vitamin A

A = Authentic Ageing

Alpha-H’s Vitamin A serum utilises the exfoliating and cell renewal properties of its hero ingredient Retinol to give you the tools to age authentically and on your own terms.

Vitamin A is perhaps one of the most researched and highly regarded ingredients to assist with the visible signs of ageing. Collectively known as retinoids, there is a range of different Vitamin A ingredients. Unlike its prescription-only relative Retionic Acid, which is well known for its irritating side effects, Retinol works to deliver the same resurfacing results without the associated visible trauma and downtime.

In fact, studies have shown that Retinol can increase collagen in the skin, reduce sebum production, improve signs of photoageing, as well as reducing the appearance of skin roughness and hyperpigmentation by speeding up the shedding of dead skin cells.

By encouraging a boost in the cell renewal processes, Retinol can also help to improve your skin’s hydration levels, smooth and firm the complexion, and minimise the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Antioxidant-rich Tomato Fruit Extract also features in this formulation to help ensure the Retinol remains stable and non-irritating, and may also provide an anti-inflammatory action.

Squalane, Evening Primrose and Macadamia Seed Oil add further power to this gentle serum by working to stabilise and restore the skin’s barrier function, which then assists in retaining much-needed moisture.

Alpha-H’s Vitamin A Serum is ideal for skins that are dry, mature, or beginning to show the visible signs of ageing, and is perfect for those looking to start introducing Retinol into their nighttime skincare regimen.

I’ve been using every other night (using my trusty liquid gold the other nights) for a few weeks now & my skin is definitely smoother & looks plumper in the mornings. I’ve also noticed a reduction in the redness in my cheeks. It’s a really nice texture so easy to apply and feels good on the skin.
