Alpha-H Vitamin C Serum

C = Clarity Enhancing

Alpha-H Vitamin C Serum embraces new generation technology blended with botanicals and the highly effective hydrating properties of Hyaluronic Acid to deliver superior antioxidant benefits.

This intensive serum stimulates collagen production and assists in the improvement of radiance, elasticity and skin texture, whilst also helping to reduce pigmentation, refine pores and provide ongoing protection against future sun damage.

While it is renowned and lauded for its impressive lightening, antioxidant and collagen-boosting benefits, unfortunately Vitamin C is easily depleted from the skin when it is exposed to sun and pollution, meaning it is essential to boost the skin’s stocks of it to protect against ageing.

Also known as Ethyl Ascorbic Acid, the stable form of Vitamin C utilised in this light and easily absorbed serum is sourced from citrus fruits and green vegetables. Our skin cells are able to convert up to 89% of Ethyl Ascorbic Acid into L-Ascorbic, which encourages the development of collagen in our skin, providing a firming action. L-Ascorbic also slows the skin’s production of melanin, whereby helping to prevent the formation of age spots on the skin which can be caused by UV exposure, hormonal changes including pregnancy, as well as medications such as the contraceptive pill.

Vitamin C also helps to reduce sunburn due to UVB radiation thanks to its ability to shield the skin from free radical activity which can trigger hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and other signs of premature ageing.

Licorice Extract provides a soothing action, and further enhances the serum’s actions against dark spots and pigmentation.

Grape Seed Extract adds its protective prowess, helping to repair free radical damage associated with UV rays, as well and boosting the lipids’ abilities to maintain moisture levels.

Hyaluronic Acid boosts moisture levels within the skin, and is able to penetrate into the deeper layers to plump and rehydrate the connective tissues, as well as promoting microcirculation and the absorption of nutrients.

Consistent long-term use of Alpha-H’s Vitamin C will result in plumper, firmer, more radiant skin that appears naturally healthy, vibrant and younger looking.

It is recommended that Alpha-H Vitamin C Serum be used in conjunction with the daily application of a broad-spectrum sunscreen for optimum results.

Tip: If you have pigmentation or sun damage, the application of SPF after using Vitamin C is essential! Tilt your head back slightly when applying the serum to help stop it from running off your face.
