Retinal (retinaldehyde) is a form of Vitamin A, the same family as Retinol and Retinoic Acid, and one of the most researched and clinically proven age-defying ingredients in skincare.Vitamin A only becomes active at the end of a conversion pathway. Retinol converts to retinal, retinal converts to retinoic acid (a prescription only acid) and it is at this final stage only that retinoids become active and can start to transform the skin.The less conversions, the more efficiently the retinoid can do the work.We use encapsulated Retinal to reduce the chance of irritation around the delicate eye area.
Where does it go in my routine? In the evening, apply Midnight Retinal Eye Cream to clean skin or after your prefered serums. Follow with your choice of moisturiser if desired.

If your skin is sensitive always start slowly when introducing new products. Begin with 1-2 alternate evenings per week. If you are new to Retinal and predominantly sensitive, try applying a basic moisturiser before your Retinal eye cream to buffer absorption.
